Designed by Polar Explorer, Thomas Ulrich, the Beluga 2, is the ideal sled for all expeditions, with the exception of pack ice (where the Beluga 1 comes into its own!).
Tested and used extensively in Greenland, Antarctica and Svalbard, the Beluga 2 is a light and robust sled that will handle anything thrown at it.
The low profile means it doesn't tip as much as other sleds, while its belly design means it slips through even sticky snow. This also makes it available to Kite skiers, even when used in tandem, as has been proved by Thomas.
Testing has show that the Beluga 2 can be used for trips of up to 30 days (loads may vary), and for longer trips, two Belugas can be hooked up in series..
With a weight of 7Kg, the sled can easily be attached to a backpack and carried if necessary
